Peter Murphy Plant Ltd has been operating for almost 40 years. To this day, it is still successfully run by Peter’s father, also named Peter Murphy. Its primary business is centred on carrying out contract work for local farmers – specialising in farm roadways, cattle underpasses and drainage works. It also has considerable experience of completing sporting pitch developments across G.A.A, Soccer and Rugby. The company has also completed projects for ground preparation to Golf Clubs and Horse Arenas.

Additionally, Peter Murphy Plant Ltd also has its own licensed dump which offers a facility to import loads of subsoil during site clearance works.

Outside of contract work, the Plant business also offers machines for long term and short term hire with fully trained and qualified operatives.
